Ivory Coast – Deaf Land Matching Opportunity

Almost two years ago, I sent an urgent appeal for a situation where the Muslim controlled government had drawn a line for a highway on a map which went through our ‘mother’ church in Abidjan. For a time the Lord stayed their ability to demolish this building and displace the group of Deaf believers meeting on the 2nd floor of this building. Simultaneously, several individuals and churches responded by giving to purchase land at a location remote from the church. Now a report of the progress towards the Deaf land project in Ivory Coast: a donor has offered a $1 for $1 matching gift challenge to complete the purchase. The seller indicates that by Dec. 2025 all plots in the area of our purchase will be taken and the two necessary adjoining plots for our building will be no longer reserved.
