IPM’s Children’s Ministries Department exists to assist our national missionaries to reach the world’s children so that they hear the gospel of Jesus Christ, repent, trust Him as Savior, walk with the Lord, and grow in a local church.
Our national missionaries are our front-line warriors in this battle around the world! They face the battle every day as they seek to win the children to Christ. But many children suffer great turmoil and family problems. Many children who are on the street begging for bread and money often return home to drunken fathers who beat them. Our missionaries are with the children when the fathers abandon the home. Our missionaries need to be there with those children and families helping them, encouraging them, and giving them the blessed gospel or our Lord Jesus Christ. We need to faithfully and clearly present the gospel so that children can have God’s conviction in their hearts about their sin. Our prayer is that many will repent and truly trust in the Lord Jesus Christ to be forgiven of their sins and walk with Him.
“…Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for such is of the kingdom of God” (Luke 18:15).
“That the generation to come might know them [God’s commandments], even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children…” (Psalm 78:6).

Our Team
Charles and Cathy Sartor
Charles and Cathy Sartor trusted Christ as Savior when they were nine years old. They met in high school and were married while in college, raising six children over the years. They have worked in churches and Christian schools for many years. Charles has been an assistant pastor and administrator, as well as a teacher. They were accepted as IPM missionaries on August 8, 2014. Bringing valuable knowledge of working with children, their focus is to help IPM’s international church planters to effectively minister to children.

Joan Farley
Joan was born into a missionary family where she heard the gospel from the time she was born. At five years of age, she trusted Christ as her personal Savior. After a time of doubt as a teenager, she recommitted her life to Christ for His service in whatever way He should choose. After college, she spent a number of years in Mexico, Guatemala, and then the Philippines before returning to the U.S. to become the director of a children’s ministry for a local church. She then spent a couple years in Canada teaching Christian education in a Bible college. During that time, she met her husband, Charles Farley, and they were married in 1998. After they were married, she served alongside her husband when he pastored in Maine. They have been with IPM since 2011.

Levi Schooley
Levi Schooley is IPM’s International Children’s Evangelist. Throughout high school and college the Lord confirmed a calling in Levi’s life to work with children and to help train those who work with children. He was accepted as an IPM missionary the autumn of 2012, and is currently raising support. In addition to his work with children at home and internationally, Levi enjoys using his technical skills for the Lord. Levi’s passion is not only to reach children with the gospel, but to disciple them in an effective manner. He believes that even children can be spiritually mature and experience a genuine walk with God.
