Your Partner with National Missionaries Around the World

October 20, 2009  SIKKIMBrother S.G. reports on their Vacation Bible School which took placed in the month of June, a total of 20 children attended the school, they used their rented house to hold these many children. One young man trusted Christ as Savior and Lord. During the month of July they had a gospel seminar for their church members, it is visible how the Lord is working among them, approximately 20 people are in attendance not counting Sunday school. They have been praying for a local missionary to help them in the ministry. He is very important in the ministry, unfortunately he does not have missionary support. By faith they have taken him on and are asking God to meet their needs. As a result of their prayers and faith in God, Brother G. had a vision to start a children’s ministry by 2010. In particular, it will help poor Buddhist families with free education. It will be a school that teaches English, Bible stories, and other subjects. The main purpose is to reach the parents through reaching the children. This ministry has the following needs: 15 folding tables, 20 small chairs, 2 whiteboards, 2 color TVs for showing rhymes, as well as gospel pictures for teaching the Word of God (as it is easy for children to learn with pictures.)

October 20, 2009  HAITIBrother Lucien and Mrs. Maude Saul are currently visiting churches in the United States until December 3, 2009. Brother Saul writes concerning the on going need to assist Haitian children, the joy to continue ministering to a few of them through their child evangelists and the Christian school in Bassin is great. The new kindergarten class shows how amazing it is when little children are thristy and hungry to learn new things. How important it is to win them at an early age with the gospel! Through Royden’s effort to collect computers while in the States now the sun shines brighter this year at the school. About 50 used monitors and hard drives were given by Bob Jones University. They appreciate the help of a Christian organization in freely transporting the computers to Haiti. They were apprehensive when they started to plan for the Bible institute this year. But just like the children of Israel in front of the Red Sea, God has commanded them to walk—and they have seen His glory! Some of the major issues were: economic crisis, fear of epidemic with many students in small rooms, absence of resources in Gonaives (they shopping city) due to the past hurricanes, etc. God’s people responded to their call to pray and to give, causing an outstanding success with 204 students in attendance and all expenses for SALEM Bible institute paid in full. Royden and another preacher in their mission were ordained during the Bible school session this year. Dr. Jim Moats from Christian Fellowship in Newville, PA., was the keynote speaker for the occasion. During their time of deputation in the States, Royden and Danielle are overseeing the work.

October 20, 2009  BHUTANBrother T.S. and his family would like to thank those contributors who helped with their motorbike, camera and financial support. By the grace of God their ministry is steadily going forward, please continue to pray to be able to reach people with the good news of our Savior. Please pray for J.P. and his family who were interested in hearing more about the gospel. Another man called C. He is also interested in the gospel. The Sunday School is going well, they have 35 children attending every Sunday, please pray for their salvation and be able to reach out their parents with the gospel of Christ. The Baptist Theological Institute is going well, kindly pray for the students that some day they will be good ministers and church planters for our Savior. Please pray for books, there are just a few books in their library.

October 20, 2009  TAIWANBrother L.P. and his family thank their prayer and financial supporters as their prayers are the lifeline of their ministry. Thanks to a generous gift, L. was able to go to the mainland in July and again in September. One of his trips lasted 9 days, on his first Sunday he preached 3 services. By the evening service, there were over 200 people. The location was in a small farming community where it was somewhat safer. Please do pray for this ministry as the believers in the mainland need good solid training, for teachers, many of whom are locals; for funds to come in so this ministry is not hindered. In July they had Vacation Bible School, with an average of 15 children for the 4 day classes. Praise the Lord for the 5 young souls that were saved! Pray for some girls who desire to go to Sunday school, for the various ministries at Taitung Bible Baptist Church and their members as they continue to grow in the Word. By July of this year, they had 4 unwed mothers move into the Morning Light Home. Their ages are 16, 17, and 2 20-year old. On September 28, they had 2 moms being induced and they had 1 mom in the hospital on bed rest due to early rupture of the membranes. Please pray for those young girls, most are giving their babies up for adoption; for CY and D.P. to be able to witness and help. While counseling her, she said her heart is tired and her tears never end. Pray for the L.P. family as their children grow they will continue to see that they are all in God’s ministry together.

July 7, 2009  PHILIPPINESBrother Glen Namoc thank God for your continued prayer and financial support for the mission work in Mindanao. Some of the pastors ministering with Brother Namoc under the North Mindanao Project write: Pastor Alex Panganuran from Calvary Fundamental Baptist Church, Mabunga Baptist Church and the Pongol Mission Work reports some opportunities to preach God’s Word, doing Bible studies, and follow-ups. On the 1st quarter (January thru March 09) they have 7 people receiving Christ as Savior and 5 baptisms. On the newly opened missions work in 4 cities were 6 people receiving Christ. They were also able to share the gospel with 12 parents at the kindergarten parent’s Sunday. Pastor Pedro Haguingan from Jesus Saves Fundamental Baptist Church in Masimag, thanks and praise the Lord for the land and Sunday school building (though not finished yet); and 9 souls who came to the saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ. Pastor Ernito Lesigon from Jesus Saves Fundamental Baptist Church in Tinagpolo-an thanks God for IPM partners, their prayers and financial support, since starting their Bible studies one person has joined their church services. Pastor Limuel Dumay from Jesus Saves Fundamental Baptist Church in San Antonio reports having church ministries where 12 people trusted Christ as Savior. The church agreed to transfer their church building along the highway because their present location is not passable by a vehicle. Pastor Casiano Laguilay from Jesus Saves Fundamental Baptist Church in Mizpah reports that Christians are victims of robberies in the mountains due to the financial crisis since the storm last January. People are killing farm animals and stealing farm products.

July 6, 2009  HAITIBrother Lucien Saul, missionary to Haiti, rejoices that they have gained some new supporters for the SALEM Bible Institute, they pray that the Lord will enable their faithful partners to do what they can. In just a few short weeks, SALEM will be in session (July 20th thru August 14th), enrollment is at a full capacity with 200 students once again, the cost per student is $150, but every contribution makes a difference. Currently, they have only received 35% of the needed finances. Out of 150 new applicants, only 30 are admitted, due to lack of space and resources. They cannot imagine saying that the school is cancelled for lack of funds. Lord willing, that would never happen. Please continue to pray for this ministry.

July 6, 2009  CHILEBrother Ivan Alegria, South American Regional Director, shares the inexplicable joy, a joy that overflows his soul. It is the joy of being where the Lord wants him to be, no matter the price or the circumstances. It is the joy of looking back and seeing everything that He is doing, which makes them laugh, suffer, and mourn. It’s worth it! It makes sense and has value because it is the cause of Christ, for His eternal message, for the sacrifice and love for us. This was a different summer for him, they wanted to minister to a large number of unbelievers and reach them with the gospel of Christ, as much as possible. They were in the process of starting the camp ministry when tragedy came to the church family, Isabel has passed away leaving 4 children and many grandchildren with deep sorrow. Brother Alegria conducted the funeral service, for 3 nights he preached on the Gospel of John chapter 3. He felt joy in his heart that God used him to preach the gospel to the segment of the population most despised by society. On the day when they buried Isabel, 300 people were at the cemetery, Brother Alegria praised the Lord for the people who made decisions for Christ. After Isabel’s passing away, Brother Alegria prepared for the camp ministry, their goal was to have as many as 150 campers. Thank God for the offerings received from the United States and the Chilean church, that allowed them to help young people with fewer resources, nearly 40 decisions were made for Christ.

June 22, 2009  LIBERIABrother Edwin N. Gbor thanks God for the faithfulness in supporting his family and the mission’s work in Liberia. They highly recognize and appreciate your partnering with them. This past Easter the Great Commission Fundamental Baptist Church had 3 nights of retreat that brought 3 of their churches in Ganta together. At the end of the retreat, 27 people gave their lives to the Lord, and they baptized 9 people in water baptism (5 of them were from GCFBC, while 4 were from the LPRC Community branch). This quarter GCFBC won 29 souls to the Lord. Please pray with this church as they are embarking on the church building project. Pastor Matthew Troy has been away for a year now doing his Bachelor of Theology degree at Ghana Baptist Theological Seminary. He graduated on June 6, he is a mission-minded pastor. This year the Fundamental Baptist Women’s Conference was held in the Manlah Baptist Church. This year about 457 women from 43 Baptist churches attended the conference for one week. They were blessed, there were many testimonies concerning the change the conference brought to their lives. Many of the women promised to be better housewives and good mothers to their children. This year they gave $1754 to buy a bus for the conference. Next year’s conference will be held in Monrovia, the capital. They are praying and trusting God for foreign speakers. For this quarter there have been 52 people who have trusted the Lord as Savior. Please continue to pray for the village work.

June 22, 2009  CHADBrother Nadjiri Tokinon send his greetings to our their partners supporting them in prayer and giving. The first trimester was full of preparations to go to conferences, organized by different churches. Baptist choirs were preparing to go to Kyabe (southeast of Chad) for 3 days. The Flambeaux and Lumieres went to Moissala for 2 days. The choirs went to Moundou for

3 days. Ladies went to N’Djamena. All these conferences took place during their Eastern holidays. These programs would have affected their Bitanda conference, so they changed the conference date to April 30th through May 3rd. Bebedjia ladies are organized and keep themselves busy besides their weekly meeting. They read and study the Bible at their regular weekly meetings. They also have another program within the group in which they train themselves in making soap, cream, and other items with local rough materials. They have in their program the ability to dye materials. They also make syrup and jam with local fruits. In Bitanda they initiated a primary evening class for the adult villagers. This project is for those who cannot continue school any longer due to lack of means or supporters and other problems related to life in the village. They wish to continue with the project into the secondary school, if the villagers support it and will attend classes.

June 11, 2009  TOGOBrother Kwame Togbi-Wonyo likes to render his sincere thanks to his supporters for their prayers and financial support, which has been a blessing to his ministry. The leaders at the Calvary Bible Baptist churches often meet at the Victory Temple to plan strategies. Among the things discussed were two major needs: (1) A need for putting more efforts into evangelization, and (2) A need for working together as local churches to bury their home-going brethren. It was a very successful conference. God blessed them with the money they needed to pay for the property of the Immanuel Temple of the Calvary Bible Baptist Church through one of their generous supporting churches in Pennsylvania, USA. On February 11th they were able to pay fully for the property, they are now debt-free and the congregation is very glad praising God for His provision. The Calvary Bible Baptist churches held the 2009 Annual Convention at the Zion Temple in Abobo, the attendance was low due to the country’s financial crisis. A new pastor was ordained on Easter Sunday, his name is Nouvlo Komla. Pastor Nouvlo has 3 children and happily married, he is pasturing 2 churches: the Calvary Bible Baptist Church of Tsevie, and the Calvary Bible Baptist Church of Davie. Please pray for him. The African Baptist Mission needs enough funds to help develop the northern ministry, they have 4 local churches in the North—1 in Dapaong city, and 3 in the rural areas.

May 14, 2009  USABrother Tom Wolfe and his wife Donna thank God for your fellowship in the Great Commission of Jesus Christ! They traveled to Guatemala last November to minister with Brother Giovanni Avendano, IPM missionary in Guatemala. Brother Avendano told him “It is time to start a Bible institute.”  Brother Avendano started and established a truly excellent church in a town called High Hill. You get a clear vision for many places throughout Guatemala—scattered towns among the mountains where multitudes still need to hear the gospel and have more good churches to hold fast God’s Word. The Lord is raising up His laborers there to reach more people in His harvest. Based on the Great Commission, you see the need to teach and train them for the Lord’s work. After returning from Guatemala, Brother Tom and his wife hosted IPM missionary Carlos Gallardo. Brother Gallardo serves the Lord in the Peruvian Amazon Jungle, directing the Amazon Baptist Mission. They worked on Bible institute things and introduced Brother Gallardo to several churches in our area. With the Bible institute that teaches and trains believers there, nearly 120 churches are now started with good workers and sound dealership.

May 13, 2009  URUGUAYBrother M.M. and his wife S.M. greet you tenderly from Uruguay. He reports that their 3 eldest children are living in Spain and Paraguay, only the 2 youngest ones are living with them in Uruguay. They continue to hold meetings in their home. They are very grateful to the Lord for the miracles they are experiencing in front of their eyes. For several months, a boy named N. has been going to their place and to the teachings on Sundays. He was born in Jerusalem and now is their neighbor. His mother does not have a problem sending her son to their meetings so he can learn. M., another girl, also lives in the neighborhood. She spends time with them and also goes to their Sunday meetings. She helps S. preparing songs for the Bible lessons, she asks many questions. They keep in touch with H., a dear friend, and also have partnership with A. and her family. Brother M. is talking again with M., an orthodox friend who had gone to the motherland to live and, thanks to the Lord, he went back to Uruguay with his family. They have celebrated already 4 meetings with the purpose of teaching believers how to treat and teach others to find the Lord in order to be saved.

May 13, 2009  PUERTO RICOBrother Nelson Westerband and his wife Carmen thank all of their financial and prayer supporters. They are a vital part of their ministry in Patillas, Puerto Rico. Their family continues to do well. Carmen continues taking care of her mother. She (mama) was very sick and in the hospital a few weeks ago with pneumonia, but she is already out of the hospital after having her lungs drained. Kendra, their daughter, will go back to school this semester. She took a semester off to take care of some problems and needs with her 2 children. Their son, Yamil, and his wife Gloria, are in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. Gloria gave birth to a new member of their family. Nehemiah is now 4 months old. The Westerbands are planning to see him this summer. The ministry continues marching forward! Between the months of January and April, they had their evangelistic campaign with Brother Roger Papius, who graduated from Puerto Rico Baptist College (CUB) and is serving in Iglesia Bautista Fundamental of Aibonito, Puerto Rico where Angel Espada is the pastor. They also attended a ladies’ jubilee and men’s retreat at Iglesia Bautista Biblica in Caguas. It was a tremendous blessing with more than 300 people attending. On Good Friday they have their cantata having a fair attendance. They held their first youth activity in the month of April, it was 1 of 3 that will be taking place in different churches, there were 20 young people and 7 adults in attendance.  The next activity will be in Aibonito on August 22nd with Pastor Angel Espada. The last one will take place in Guayama with Pastor Alexis Colon on October 10th. Please pray that the Lord will work in their young people during these activities.

May 13, 2009  USABrother George Stouffer and his wife Gerry just returned from a 3-month ministry in Ghana with Brother George A. Dapaah, and Brother Alfred Ofosu-Asante at the Solid Rock Baptist Bible College. Gerry was devoting three class hours per week in an interactive computer program to help the 9 students to learn to read music. Both of them were making themselves available for individual attention 3 evenings per week in the library. Gerry was also spending time learning the computer music rotation program called Finale. With it she was able to adapt arrangements for the choirs and produce music for her students, as well as put some gospel songs that Brother Dapaah wrote into good printable form. It took several days for them to know whether God had provided any funds with which to buy the remaining 4 UPS (uninterrupted power supply) for the computer lab and classroom projector (approximately $350). There is a young high-school graduate from Brother Dapaah’s church in Tema, was spending Thursdays and Fridays on the campus so Gerry could help him musically. The Stouffers thank you for praying for their health. They were not sick at all.

May 12, 2009  USABrother Matt Barfield and his company stopped in the village of Flor de Punga for an evening meeting. Brother Carlos was able to give an invitation and gospel message over the town’s public address system, and 2 young men (ages 18 and 22) went before the service to be saved. They stayed through the service and stood with the others who consecrated themselves publicly at the end of the service. The church over there is fighting numerous satanic attacks on the Lord’s work, and they need our prayers as they “fight the good fight of faith.” For his final week in the Amazon with door-to-door visitation during the day, and meetings at Pastor Gallardo’s and Pastor Herman’s churches (Pastor Herman is the Treasurer for the ABM, of which Pastor Gallardo is the founder and president). This was a very fruitful time with many heart-searching decisions on  the part of believers and many souls saved during the visitation times. The people of Iquitos are very open to door-to-door visits and were quick to invite them in to hear the gospel. They saw someone saved every time they went out.

May 12, 2009  USABrother Matt Barfield traveled to the Peruvian Amazon to work with missionary Carlos Gallardo. The first week was spent much like his first week last year—preaching, and teaching in the village of Apayacu. The theme for that week was the family, and he had a lot of opportunities to counsel men and women one-on-one. The same week was a week for building up the church, families, and individual lives, yet they watched the Lord get the victory in new territory as well. The town drunk disrupted their afternoon meetings several times, but he returned during the evening sober, humble, and desiring to receive the Lord. An elderly couple also were “translated into the kingdom of His dear Son,” and they were encouraged by the growth and potential of the church in Apayacu. Due to some boating problems they arrived in the town of Santa Fe two days later and saw that there have been many attacks on the Church there. The Lord worked with them and brought both believers and unbelievers to their evening meetings. An older lady and 6 young men received the Lord Jesus from that village. Nearly all believers consecrated themselves anew. Please pray specially for the Pastor of Santa Fe as he shepherds the believers.

May 12, 2009  USABrother Brent Smith, IPM area representative for West Virginia and Ohio, rejoices for the opportunity to make a trip to the Dominican Republic. This will be their first visit to one of our IPM mission fields; however, they need the funds necessary to travel. They need to get their passports, tickets, etc. in order to go. The cost of the trip will be around $2,000. During the months of April thru June, they will be having meetings in West Virginia, Virginia, Maryland, and Vermont as they continue to raise their support. Caleb is having some physical problems with his back, he is having tests done to see if he has a pinched nerve or a bulging disc in his lower back. They would like to thank all their supporters, whether it be through prayer of financial support, for interceding on their behalf.

May 11, 2009  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. writes to his faithful prayer and support partners stating that he can sense their prayers which means so much to them as they serve the Lord in that part of the world. He is requesting to please uphold them before the throne of grace as they do always. By the grace of God, they successfully reopened the TBSS on February with 28 new students. Among the new registered students were 11 unsaved-so they first concentrated and counseled them with the gospel. All of them got saved and are now studying God’s Word. They have a total of 115 students this academic year. Now they have 2 students who speak another dialect. The Masters program is going well, there are 38 active post-graduate students; their chapel preaching and class teachings are having a great impact on the students. While preaching the gospel at a village during March 9-15, about 50 people formed a new church, we held a children’s crusade where 70 children participated. After having counseling sessions, some 30 people confessed Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and Lord. There is great joy in their hearts, which cannot be expressed with words. Te renovation of the old building for chapel and office is still in progress, as well as the new building for the institute.

May 11, 2009  GHANABrother Seth Mohenu shares the many blessings received from the Lord Jesus Christ. His family is doing fine, his daughter Lillian is now out of college and doing her national service, Timothy and Marian will be finishing this June. Since their last prayer letter they have had 14 people baptized, 9 during the month of December 2008 and 5 during the month of March 2009; they had 4 members gone to be with the Lord. All the schools are doing well, especially the Vocational/Technical. The Lord has done great things. The academic year will be coming to an end in June, 8 students will be graduating, 5 of them from the degree program and 3 from the diploma department. The ministry at Solid Rock Baptist Mission is growing gradually. During this period 4 men were ordained for the gospel ministry. Brother Stouffer and his wife were in Ghana helping in the Solid Rock Baptist College. The annual family retreat came off at Dobro, there were about 350 people in attendance.

May 11,2009  ZAMBIABrother Mark Murray reports on their first month of furlough experiencing some reverse culture shock. When they are in Zambia, people think they are wealthy, most of the Zambians are unemployed, scratching out a living by doing odd jobs and buying and selling a few goods. The country has the largest AIDs orphan population in the world, which means that fewer adults are taking care of more and more children. Access to nutritious food, electricity, water, health care, education and most of the other things we take for granted is limited by a lack of money. They are grateful for their American heritage and all it allows them to do. They appreciate the way Zambia has sensitized them to the needs of the third world. The challenge is to balance living and ministering in both worlds.

April 30, 2009  HONG KONGBrother C.W. shares the blessing of having their own office to spend some time doing remodeling. The Lord also provided some good used furniture from a non-profit  organization. The next step is to pray that God will use them to reach more people through that office. They are thankful that God has place them in that location.

April 30, 2009  SIKKIMBrother S.G. thanks his supporters for their faithfulness. Concerning the ministry, they have been focusing on the preaching ministry and distributing tracts. So far, the ministry activities have been: preaching the gospel to children every Sunday as part of the outreach, this year they had 10 children who regularly attend the Sunday School and hear the gospel and various Bible stories. Half of the children are from a Buddhist family. This is an opportunity to preach the gospel to them as well as their parents. In addition, he had opportunities to preach the gospel to a refugee from Tibet and a man from a Buddhist man who grew up in Sikkim. He started a house church in his rented house with 30 in attendance. The place has become too small, they need a bigger house, please pray that the Lord will provide for their needs.

April 24, 2009  HANOVER, USABrother John Maziarz, IPM Finance Director, mentioned on his last prayer letter that IPM was looking into allowing contributors to give to IPM electronically. In other words, no checks to write or get lost in the mail. Instead, an automatic deposit is made to the IPM checking account from the contributor’s account or credit card. E-Giving also helps IPM lower our operational costs a little, allowing us to be better stewards of the funds we have. e-Giving can be set up for a one-time gift, or to take place every month. He is still gathering information to determine the most effective means to implement this. If you have an interest at all in giving via credit card (including your ATM card), either via a page on the internet, or by calling in your credit card information to the Home Office, please contact him or send him an e-mail. When IPM finally gets this up and running, you will be one of the first to be made aware of it. Several generous contributions to the IPM General Fund allow it to end 2008 in the black, continuing safety while traveling to meetings and family events, and a good first semester for Bethany at PCC.

April 20, 2009  BOLIVIABrother Ruben Quiroz writes “in the midst of much turmoil, social, and financial changes around the world, there is one sure thing—God will always be God and his sovereign control is in force.” Your faithful prayer and financial support are a vital part in the work of God in Bolivia. Brother Quiroz traveled to Bolivia from February 18th through the 27th. This year they were not able to have their summer camp because the government took back the property that they were renting. They are praying for a place for next year’s summer camp. They did a week-long conference with the Logos church families, it was a time of blessing and edification. The believers were challenged to live a committed life in the midst of the social and political conflicts that the country is going through. He was planning a modular course on the subject of “Church Administration”, the Lord was so good that He blessed them with 40 students who attended the course. Brother Quiroz finished his Masters of Arts at the Louisiana Baptist University, presently he is taking courses for his Ph.D. which he hopes to take at a slower pace. His graduation will be on May 8th. They are finishing the preparations to return to the mission field during the last week of July, they want to thank the Lord for His faithfulness while they were living in the United States. The Lord allowed them to have a closer look at the work and the needs of the Hispanic community, the need for laborers in this harvest is great. The Quiroz are at 45 percent of their missionary support. Lord willing, they will be leaving the United States during the last week in July.

April 20, 2009  HAITIBrother Lucien Saul and his wife Maude along with their son Royden and his wife Danielle will receive 200 pastors, evangelists, and Christian workers at the SALEM Bible Institute where key leaders will be trained for effective ministry in Haiti from July 20th thru August 16th, 2009 in Bassin. The men who study at SALEM Bible Institute acquire tremendous benefit from the high quality teaching they receive. To complete the course and receive a diploma, students must attend for 4 years. Hundreds of ministries throughout Haiti have been revolutionized by this modular Bible institute. God has been very faithful every year in providing the needs through His people. The cost is only about $150 per student. For this amount the student receives all his teaching and materials, 3 meals a day (much better than he is used to!), laundry service, etc. Would you or your church be willing to sponsor one or more students? The total need is $30,000 for the 200 students. In addition, plans are being made to build a ladies’ dorm so pastors’ wives can attend and be trained. Thank you for making these needs a matter of prayer.

April 20, 2009  GHANABrother Alfred Ofosu-Asante thanks God for your faithful prayer and financial support. The church has begun preparing the grounds for the much-needed expansion of the church building. When this is completed, it will provide more seating for the congregation in the auditorium, as well as a new baptistery and offices. Pray with them that the Lord will provide the needed funds for this work. By the grace of God, the school is growing steadily. It began on January 12, 2004 with 5 children, is now 5-years old and has a population of 254 children and 22 teaching and non-teaching staff. They have a library, which they have stocked to the best of their ability. The school currently has 5 computers and needs at least 20 more, since the government has made computer studies a compulsory subject on the curriculum. The building project is going on well, they thank God for that. They continue to thank God for the one church that gave them $25,000 toward this project last year. The Zion Baptist Church is an outreach ministry of the Ebenezer Baptist Church. This church has had a lot of challenges, which have scattered most of the members. It has been without a resident pastor for the past 3 years. This church needs a permanent pastor, as well as a piece of land to put up a permanent building. Solid Rock Baptist Academy is a Christian school established under the Solid Rock Baptist Missions. The population of the school has increased to 230, with 13 teaching and non-teaching staff. It needs $1,000 to roof the structure that serves as church and classrooms. The Solid Rock Baptist Bible College currently have 5 students at the diploma level and 4 at the degree level. They still need financial support to run the Bible college, which is the source of manpower for their church-planting efforts.

April 20, 2009  MEXICOBrother Sergio Herrera thanks his prayer and financial supporters for their vital participation in the ministry, many souls have been reached through the preaching of the gospel.  They have witnessed the grace of God in many lives that were once destroyed by the enemy, but have now come to the feet of Christ. Thanks to you his oldest daughter, Johana, is about to finish the last semester for her bachelor’s in Architecture. Priscilla is studying for her bachelor’s in Nursing. Sharon will be graduating from high school this July and entering a new phase of her life, she would like to study Art Design at the university. Please pray for Joel to see the Lord’s will in his life. Alejandra, his wife, has been suffering from degenerative arthritis in her knees and appears to be recovering from her crisis. The Lord put a good neurologist in their path, and thanks to the medications that he recommended, she is walking much better and the swelling has gone down. Their youngest daughter, Myrle, who is 10 years old, broke her collarbone 2 months ago. She is doing well now. The ministry has grown in a marvelous way. The church is formed by 90 believers, this is very encouraging. One of the last decisions which moved their hearts was to take Ana Claudia to the feet of Christ, her testimony is powerful. She needs a lot of prayer, the good thing is that she is in the hands of the Lord. In the last 3 months there were 12 decisions for salvation, everybody in the church is excited for the newcomers. They are proceeding with the purchase of the land that they have decided to buy. Brother Sergio returned to Mexico on April 10 after spending a few months in the United States visiting churches and reporting to supporting churches, he was hoping to finish the purchase of the property upon his return. They are praying for the Lord to provide what they lack and a little more to pay the required legal fees. One of the goals of this year is to have a camp during the last week in July. They need believers to adopt a youth to help them with their stay. The cost of the camp is $55 per person. They have approximately 18 children and 24 young men in the church.

April 6, 2009  BHUTANBrother T.S.G. thanks his prayer and financial supporters for praying and sharing on the ministry and his family. The Bible school is running well because of your prayers and financial support. Presently, they have 8 students, there are many young men who would like to go and learn the Word of God back due to the lack of support, the school was not able to admit them. The increasing number of students in the Bible school is dependent on their support. If God is willing, they want to admit more students this year; therefore, please pray that God may increase their support. During summer vacation, some of their students will stay back in the Bible school and go for the outreach ministry. For the year 2008, 2 people were baptized, 497 booklets were distributed, 3,749 tracts and 113 New Testaments were given out, and 657 people were contacted. Please pray more for the hardness of our battlefield.

April 6, 2009  BANGLADESHBrother D.G.G. praises and thanks God for His wonderful guidance and continual provision of all their needs. The AEMS has 40 students and 4 teaching staff, including himself as headmaster and Brother K.I. as assistant headmaster. The other 2 staff members are Brother R.D. and Mrs. A. C., who help them in educating the less privileged tiny tots. With God’s help, they can see much improvement among the students in their education, discipline, manner, song, and Scripture portions. The school designed a school flag with a meaningful motto, “Go Light the World”. The aim and the goal of this motto is to shine and spread light into darkness. It also held an annual sport event meeting during October 1-3. All the students participated and enjoyed the meeting. Sports included outdoor races, shot-put, long jump, high jump, football, etc. Indoor activities included rhyme and song competitions as well as Scripture recitation. Agape Baptist Ministry conducted a Gospel Seminar/Life Word Seminar at AEMS campus on October 11 thru 12. They also held a film ministry wherein more than 100 people attended the seminars and film showing. On the last day of the seminar, Brother D.G.G. made an altar call after the message and 3 men raised their hands and went forward to accept Jesus as their Savior. Mrs. G. and Mrs. I. are helping to show the older women the way of salvation.

April 6, 2009  HANOVER, USARev. William Bowen is representing IPM at Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Baptist College of Ministry, and at Northland Baptist Bible College. One of his desires is that he will be able to make contact with men who could become mission evangelists/representatives for IPM in various states or regions of the United States. The team of six representatives are doing a fantastic job as we will host men from Mexico, Chile, Ivory Coast, Bolivia, Myanmar, Haiti, and Ghana during this year. Pray for the Pisarciks and Smiths who need immediate support. The others continue to discover their support on deputation.

February 24, 2009  TOGOBrother Kwame Togbi-Wonyo thanks once again his prayer and financial supporters and the love for his ministry. Much has been accomplished for the Lord because of them. On December 7, the Ebenezer Temple of Lome elected a pastor for their young people. They felt it was needed because God has blessed the church with a lot of young people. He is studying in their Bible college. Before his education, he conducted a very successful youth church service on Sunday, November 16. It was great and they all enjoyed it. Please pray for him. He is married and has 2 daughters. The African Baptist Mission has deemed it necessary to divide their ministerial regions into districts. Each district has a district pastor. This has made their ministry very successful. Each district pastor must oversee the ministry in his district. He must also see to it that evangelistic efforts have been put forth in his district during the year. This strategy has been a blessing to their rural churches that do not have a pastor. They hope the Lord will use this strategy to bless their ministry in both the southern and northern regions. This January, 3 more students were enrolled in the Baptist Superior School of Theology. This has brought the student number to 14. It is interesting to know that the music professor has had the call of God and has decided to study theology. He is the 14th student. He will teach music 6 hours a week and study 8 hours as a student. Good things are happening in the African Baptist Mission. Please pray for them.

February 9, 2009  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. thanks his faithful prayer partners and supporters, wishing everyone many blessings. He and the believers have stepped out in faith to dig and lay the foundation for their new school building. They are looking forward to training many faithful laborers for the Lord’s vineyard at the new school building. In the meantime, 3 of his church members went home to be with the Lord during the month of October, yet they took the opportunity to preach the gospel and tell of their blessed hope at each one’s funeral. This made a great impact on many unbelievers. Many people participated in the Annual Christian Family Altar Week, unbelievers joined the services as they preached that the salvation of each family member is the most vital part. At the TBSS Alumni and Fundamental Preachers Conferences they had over 160 alumni and pastors from various villages, there was a great revival through the preaching by M.B. There were about 400 to 500 attending the services and more than half of the people responded to the altar call and dedicated their lives to serve God more. It is really exciting to know that the revival which took place during the conference will spiritually enflame over 150 distant villages in the “uttermost part of the earth.”

February 9, 2009  CHADBrother Nadjiri Tokinon praise the Lord for his prayer partners and supporters, wishing many blessings for this new year. The women leaders of the Baptist Mid-Misison churches met in Bebedjia from November 27-29, there were 74 ladies gathered to work and to prepare for their conference that will take place in April with the theme of “Christian Commitment.” On December 21, Bebedjia Baptist Mid-Mission Church visited prisoners in the Bebedjia Remand Center. There were opportunities to share the gospel. At the end of the sermon, one inmate confessed that he is a Christian and even a deacon in his church, in a village located almost 7 miles to the south of Bebedjia, but he did wrong and now he is in prison. By the Lord’s will, they baptized 5 people on December 6. There were 2 young men and 3 young girls. In the evangelization efforts in the city of Doba 29 people gave their hearts to the Lord and 39 confessed their sins and decided to come back to the Lord, this came as a result of the death of the oldest man in the Doba church, he was a man of prayer and really engaged in evangelization. They shared the gospel with 421 people through door to door visitation and 2 public choir concerts. Please pray for these 29 converts. They had 4 eye consultations and 152 patients. There was a Junior Camp Joy from December 26-30, there were 30 kids attending the camp. There are 345 children attending classes at the Primary School in Bebedjia. They praise the Lord for the evangelization in Doba, for the partners contributing to the generator and motorcycle purchases, for the people who came to Christ, for protecting the ministry and His people in Chad, for their eldest son, Araa, who went to study in Cameroon for a time but now he is back home.

December 15, 2008  BOLIVIABrother Ruben Quiroz writes: “While I have been studying here in the United States, the Lord has placed a great burden in my heart for the Hispanic people. Thanks to the Lord, the work here in Milton, Florida, is growing. We had 3 new converts. God is working and bringing up a group of believers. We are having the discipleship classes and the Bible institute twice a week. In addition, the Lord is giving me the privilege to preach 3 times a week in the Mexican restaurants in the area. I teach Bible studies for one-half hour and have contact with the employees. Please continue to pray for this ministry.” He and his family thank their prayer and financial supporters for their love, friendship, prayer, and offerings.

December 15, 2008  BHUTANBrother T.G. wish his prayer and financial supporters a “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.” It is wonderful for him to write to you and give thanks for your support to his ministry. As he encounters different types of people in the field he continues to share the Good News experiencing difficulty to witness to the lost. It is especially so on the mission field because they do not know the language and the people, it is necessary to learn the common language and make friendships after they have witnessed to them; those who are not willing to believe will slowly try to give up their friendship. They continue to distribute tracts and Bibles every day, there are some people who are interested and some who hate them because they preach the gospel. Most of them are afraid of losing property from their family and their community. In spite of this, they continue to witness the gospel and need a lot of prayer support. The family is fine, the kids are growing up fast.

December 15, 2008  COTE D’IVOIRE (IVORY COAST)-Brother Andre Nao sends his Christmas greetings to his prayer and financial supporters. He praises the Lord for the provision of the school fees of his children. He still suffers from high blood pressure (which is better than before). Please pray for housing: the one they have now is very small, it has only 2 rooms, 1 dining hall and 1 bathroom for 11 people living there. Recently they had 3 days of meetings in the town of Daloa (meaning “city of antelopes” in the local language). In the Midwest the population is 95% Muslim and 5% Roman Catholic. During the meetings 60 adults got saved, as well as 100 children and young people. They have already 2 small churches. In Abidjan, the capital, 100 adults gave saved during the past 3 months. In the Western region of Cote D’Ivoire, they have 3 small churches and they are growing fast. Brother Nao had surveyed the town called Blolequin, very close to Liberia, he led some people to Christ. Brother Nao praises the Lord for His spiritual and financial blessings, for the extension of the main church, for their faithful supporters and for peace in Cote D’Ivoire.

December 15, 2008  PERUBrother Juan Romayna reports that in the month of July they had the 3rd and 4th class modules in Aysana, there were 6 national teachers and 28 students. In addition, the new Bible Baptist Seminary of Flor de Punga was inaugurated, there were 3 teachers and 20 students with 5 people giving their souls to the Lord after hearing the gospel. In the month of August, he started a new class for new leaders, there were 30 students; he opened the children’s club “Fishers of Men” with 90 children in attendance meeting every Saturday from 9 to 11 in the morning; he traveled to Sinchicuy to encourage the believers and to do a survey for a possible youth retreat in 2009. In the month of September, they continued with the new leaders’ classes and the children’s club.

December 15, 2008  NEPALBrother L.S. thanks his prayer and financial supporters for their faithfulness. He thanks the Lord for bringing students who are surrendering their lives for full-time ministry. Please pray for them so that they may complete their course successfully and go out soul winning. This year 28 dedicated students registered for the school year; many of them from Hindu and Buddhist backgrounds. The second semester began on November 4th. Brother S.’s wife gave birth to a healthy baby boy this past October 11th. Please continue to pray for this child and his mother, she is still weak needing post-surgery care.

November 21, 2008  URUGUAYBrother Anibal Fornazarich thanks his prayer partners and supporters through your gifts to their ministry. They continue to work with the children, their sons Josias and Joao are a great help and enjoy what they do. A dear sister, Zully, helps with cakes and chocolate after the Bible class. The children spend their afternoons with them starting with the Bible class, games, etc., some of them have already accepted Christ others come from broken homes. Two girls, Gimena and Erlinda, have experienced great suffering, their parents are separated and just recently their mother died of a heart attack. Please pray for Maria to minister to these girls. They also continue to work with the children in the biggest square in Artigas, there are young people as well as children who get together in another area to deal drugs. It is a very dark place where they are proclaiming the true Light of the Savior. Another ministry is at the city fair, every Sunday they are able to be at this event, people purchase and sells almost everything. They were able to start their Bible studies on Saturdays, Airton and Rodolfo never miss a single meeting. The meetings in Artiga are going well, they meet on Sundays in the Fornazarich’s living room.

November 17, 2008  HANOVER, USARev. William H. Bowen, Vice President of Church Mobilization, has traveled extensively to Dominican Republic, Zambia, Cote D’Ivoire (Ivory Coast), Liberia and India in 2008. He has also enjoyed his responsibilities as Vice President of Church Mobilization overseeing other IPM representatives, participating in Executive Staff meetings and Board meetings. He had also enjoyed teaching during the 3rd Pre-Field Orientation to prepare prospective missionaries to their different fields of ministry.

November 17, 2008  USADr. Thomas Wolfe, IPM Director of Education, is traveling to Guatemala to minister with IPM missionary Rev. Giovanni Avendano in the different ministries in that country.

November 14, 2008  BANGLADESHBrother G.G. and his family thank the Lord for continually providing all of their needs, their prayer and financial supporters for continuing to uphold the ministry in prayer so that their goal to reach the unreached community will grow and bear more fruit. The Model School was started in the last week of July and ready for the second week in August. At present, they have 40 students and 4 teachers. They introduced Bible studies with believers twice a week teaching theological issues and training on how to teach to effectively grow in the spiritual lives. Fellowship is the most essential part of the ministry, the young people are very active and take the main part in sharing and hearing the Word of God. They also have time to pray together as they bring their prayer requests. Brother G.G. and his wife traveled to his homeland to spend sometime with his ill mother, the doctors diagnosis was cancer, she took a local-made medicine and she is improving. Three young men dedicated their lives for the Lord and to study God’s Word, they were sent for theological training at the Bhutan border, they are now in seminary. The first church building has been completed because of your prayers and support, it was dedicated on March 13th, 2008 by IPM President during his visit to the Indo-Bangladesh border. Gospel meetings are being held in full swing, non believers also attend Sunday worship services.

November 14, 2008  USABrother Matthew Barfield, IPM International Missionary Evangelist and Asia Regional Director, thank you for your regular prayer and financial support. The past few months in the ministry have been very exciting for them as they have had several revival meetings in the United States, an opportunity to visit the Middle East, and a vision-expanding meeting with the leadership of IPM. Before traveling to the Middle East, Brother Barfield met with the IPM Executive Staff about adding responsibilities as the new IPM Asia Regional Director and Administrative Assistant to the Vice President of Field Ministries. This is the next step for them as they ask the Lord for a global great awakening. The Barfields will have to move to the Hanover area as soon as their support levels are increased enough so that he can work out of the home office when he is in the United States. As a family, they were overjoyed to welcome their first daughter, Elisabeth Louise on July 6th, 2008. Please pray for this servants of Christ.

November 13, 2008  ANDAMAN ISLANDSBrother T.H. and his family express their heartfelt thanks to all their prayer and financial supporters. He reports that God has blessed them with an open door to have the privilege to share the gospel. They are also trying to start a house Bible study. During the last 3 years they have been having Sunday prayer meetings in a small room, at the same time they have 9 to 10 children attending Sunday school. Please pray for a bigger room for a prayer hall. Brother B.V. and his family also express their joy to their supporters and prayer partners, they rejoice in the privilege to lead people to Christ on the mission field. Please pray that the Lord will provide funds for Brother T.H. and his family to visit his homeland and spend Christmas with his parents and other relatives.

November 13, 2008  CHADBrother Nadjiri Tokinon thanks God and all the partners who helped them with your prayers and financial support while he was sick. Let God the Almighty bless you beyond your needs to support others in the same situation. He is back home and well. He praises the Lord that the celebration of the traditional initiation in Bebedjia did not force young people from churches to go for this traditional culture teaching. This initiation is a kind of traditional school where they take young people out to the bush and teach them how to act as a man or a woman, they do this in separate groups, and involves idol worship. Camp Joy was held on the first week of July, there were 120 young people who attended, 17 were saved and 28 made decisions. Some Catholics and Muslims attended also as Pastor Mouanodki Timothy led the whole event. There was a baptism ceremony in Bebedjia also in the month of July, 16 people were baptized. During Brother Tokinon’s absence, Pastor Deman Jean from Moundou Baptist Church helped with the ministry. The Kids’ Sunday School teachers training took place in Bebedjia in the month of July. There were 19 attendants coming from different churches. The trainers were trained in Sarh last year and now they are taking over the training. This year they will have all levels in primary school which registration starts very soon. Brother Tokinon is looking forward having a health center, they have some training on cataract surgery, they started to consult people for eye treatments.

November 13, 2008  SIKKIMBrother S.G. thanks the Lord for His love and grace to them and the ministry in this country. Also, he sends his greetings and thanks to all of you for your great concern, the valuable prayer support, your generosity, and the love you have shown to him and his family. Working among Buddhist people is so challenging. Please pray for Mr. T.’s salvation, he was from a Buddhist family never hearing the gospel of Christ, he believes in other gods but he listens to Brother S.G.’s preaching. One Nepali man from a wealthy family living in the capital, he is interested in Christ. Continue to pray for the distribution of tracts, just in the month of October Brother S.G. distributed tracts and shared the gospel with 30 people. The Lord provided 20 chairs, 1 guitar, and 1 pulpit as the believers have prayed for a long time. Brother S.G. thanks those who heard and helped on this need. In the future they will need a laptop computer for the ministry and the church, right now they are using a very old typewriter.

November 13, 2008  COTE D’IVOIRERev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) reports that many souls were led to the Lord. At a wedding ceremony where Rev. Nao preached, 10 souls gave their lives to Christ. The mission baptized 17 people. Please pray for the 4 churches in the Western Region of Cote D’Ivoire for they have great spiritual needs because of the civil war.

November 13, 2008  TOGORev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) reports that Ebenezer Baptist Temple has experienced a great revival which has awakened all members to be better servants for the Lord. This year’s national convention of the Calvary Bible Baptist churches was held at the Immanuel Temple in Lome. Over 2,500 saints attended this convention. Never in the history of the mission have they had such a convention. One pastor, Samniani Kombate, was ordained for the gospel ministry. Please pray for the success of the Bible school.

November 13, 2008 CHADRev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) reports that 16 people were baptized to the glory of God. The primary school is growing very fast. Please continue to pray for Brother Tokinon’s health.

November 13, 2008  ZAMBIARev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) reports that the ministry in Zambia is facing great challenges, but thanks be to God our IPM missionary Mark Murray and family are doing marvelously well. Please pray for Brother Murray and family as they continue to be involved in various ministries within the mission.

November 13, 2008  LIBERIARev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) reports that the ministry in Liberia is growing, 7 souls were baptized and 23 people got saved in the Great Commission Fundamental Baptist Church. Dr. Bill Bowen was able to visit with the Liberian brethren, and this was a great blessing to the ministry. The death of Pastor Konah’s son has had some effect on the ministry in the Quopa Church. Please pray for the ministry there.

November 13, 2008  GHANARev. Seth Mohenu (Africa Regional Director) and his family express their heartfelt appreciation for your financial and prayer support. There have been great blessings since the last time he wrote. They have been growing, souls are being saved, and they hope to have a group baptized in the month of December at Faith Independent Baptist Church. They buried two members, had children dedicated to the glory of God, and a marriage ceremony for one of their young ladies. On September 9 began the school year at Ghana Baptist Theological Institute, they were privileged to have with them Dr. Christopler Rohrback, who was their resource person for the ten-day discipleship seminar organized by Rev. Mohenu. The student population for the academic year 2008/2009 is 15. They have 10 students in the diploma section and 5 in the degree program. Rev. Mohenu is teaching Christian education in the degree section this semester. Enrollment at the Faith Christian Academy—Primary and Junior High, and Vo-Tech has been very encouraging for this year. The students did very well at the 2008 National Basic Education Certificate Examination.

October 22, 2008  GHANARev. George A .Dapaah reports that has been almost 4 months since they moved to the campus of the SRBBC in Dobro and still “settling down.” His son Gideon has completed his Diploma studies at the Bible college and has enrolled for the 4th year to earn a Bachelor of Theology degree. He has mentioned that his desire is to enter the Ghana Armed Forces as a military chaplain in the future and is seeking the Lord’s will. Miriam is back at the University of Science and Technology to begin her 3rd year of studies in pharmacology. Martha excelled in her basic school exams and is waiting to enter high school this year. The SRBBC graduation took place on August 30th. They had 6 diploma graduates, which included one student from Togo and one from Sierra Leone. They also had 5 graduated with Bachelors of Theology degrees. They are working on a dorm to house two married students and their families. They have been able to complete one side so one couple has moved in. When the Bible school reopened on August 15 they had 9 students on campus this semester. The revival services at SRBC in Tema brought in 30 first-time visitors, with about 15 accepting Christ as Savior. On August 17, their young people traveled to the Central Region town of Saltpond for a one-week youth camp. This attracted about 600 young people from other sister churches. On June 29, they held their first morning service for the inauguration of the Solid Rock Baptist Church of Nungua South. This first service saw over 50 people in the main service and about 20 in the children’s service. On August 31st, 15 people were baptized. Brother Ben Yankson, a graduate from SRBBC who has been working in the Tema church as youth coordinator, is leading this young church. Brother Dapaah and his team have been without transportation for almost 3 months, the vehicles are in the shop for repairs. A 40-mile journey that normally takes and hour, ends up taking between 2 to 3 hours by public transportation. Brother Dapaah and his wife Vera arrived in the United States on September 2nd to begin 3-months deputation time, please pray for safety and good church meetings.

August 21, 2008  USARev. Kevin M. Callahan, IPM President, will be traveling from August 28th thru September 3rd, 2008 to Bolivia to participate at the 2nd IPM South American Regional Conference in Cochabamba. August 6, 2008 USARev. Thomas Wolfe will be traveling and working in Bolivia with Ruben Quiroz August 23th through September 6th, during which time he will be working with the seminary and also speaking at the IPM South American Regional Conference in Cochabamba.

July 3, 2008  ANDAMAN ISLANDSBrother T.K. greets all their friends, prayer partners, and supporters from the beautiful island of Andaman in the name of our Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. He and his family have dedicated their lives to serving the Lord in any situation, and they are not ashamed of the gospel of Christ. During the month of March they received the visit of Dr. Callahan, they had a sweet time of fellowship. More than 60 people attended the first meeting when Pastor Mike Mayer preached. Dr. Callahan gave the second message, the people were happy to hear their wonderful messages. A teenage girl and 6 others dedicated their lives to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Dr. Callahan shared the gospel with a mother and daughter who were visiting Brother K.’s home. They were Hindus but received Christ and are not witnessing among their own people. Please pray for them. During the month of April, Brother T.K. distributed 300 Bible tracts and 7 New Testaments. He has made contact with 3 new families and, if the Lord opens a way, he will try to have a Bible study with them. Due to the heavy rains in May and June he did not have outreach, but the Lord opened a way for him to share the gospel with his neighbor. Please pray for all these people.

July 3, 2008  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. shares that their experience in Yangon was nothing compared to those in the Delta region where many lives and villages disappeared. On May 15th, he and a friend Rev. J.M. went by jeep to a township in the Delta region to help and encourage the survivors. They met Christians who survived, they were encouraged and gave them some food, clothing, and financial help. They had a good time with them. Please pray for the international help, the demand of the need is beyond their ability, yet they tried their best. Thank you for your constant prayers and support.

July 3, 2008  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. give thanks to God for your prayers and support in spreading the gospel and teaching God’s Word through the ministry of TBSS. There are many tears, trials, temptations, failures, and hard work behind every success. It was a historic event and moment when TBSS held its 3rd graduation in April 15. There were 91 students who received their certificates. There were 2,000 people who came to grace our convocation, because of your prayers the activity went well. It is joyous and encouraging to hear the testimony of one of our former students who wrote: “…..our daycare children who were from unbelieving families began to pray in Jesus’ name as they confessed him as Savior and Lord. Some of them got saved! Praise the Lord!” Your labor is not in vain in the Lord. Yet, sadly, some parents stopped sending their children to the school to hinder them from saying Jesus is Lord. Pray for them. Our family went down to town when the storm hit the region. We were getting some medical check-ups and other needful things, which we cannot do back home. The cyclone Nargis hit the Delta region (including Yangon) and destroyed it badly. Things are becoming more normal in the city. All flights, transportation, and communications were stopped for a while.

June 28, 2008  URUGUAYBrother Anibal Fornazarich, IPM missionary to Uruguay, thanks his supporters of their evangelistic ministry and planting of his church. Please continue to pray for the children who attend the Bible class, some of them professed to be Christians. Among them they have a bond that allows them to share their testimonies in the meetings and conform to the image of our Savior. Pastor Gianni Galizzi baptized Josias Fornazarich after giving his testimony of salvation at the church. He has mentioned to Brother Fornazarich his desire to serve the Lord. He is training to play the guitar and attending his first year in a secondary school, he is on his second year of studying English. At the beginning of the year they attended the independent Baptist camp. Brother Fornazarich had the privilege to preach every day. One young man accepted Christ a long time ago under the ministry of Pastor Gianni in Tranqueras, his name is David. He is walking faithfully with the Lord, he is the only teacher in a school on the field and he faithfully studies the Scriptures. Another lady, Margaret, attends the church in Rivera with her mother. They are faithful to the Lord and are good friends with Maria Fornazarich. Margaret started coming to church when she was a little girl, now she continues to study music. Praise the Lord that she is saved and grounded in the Word. The Fornazarich appreciate very much that you take the time to pray for them.

June 25, 2008  HAITIBrother Royden Saul praises the Lord for His faithfulness allowing him to complete his college education at Bob Jones University graduating this year. Brother Lucien and his wife Maude were able to have  a nice time with their son visiting with family and friends. Brother Royden already had the opportunities to preach and share his ministry in churches, as well as having the privilege to seeing and spending time with some of those who have faithfully and lovingly prayed and provided for him during his years at Bob Jones. He is so grateful for all of you who stood behind him to make his studies possible at BJU, and he is hoping others will join the team to make his ministry possible. He returned to Haiti on June 16th and began working with the men’s Bible school that they have every summer. Pray that the men will learn much and be open to the Lord’s work in their lives.

June 25, 2008  PERUBrother Juan Romayna from Iquitos, Peru reports that he attended the Ladies Conference held in January 21st thru 26th as professor and activities coordinator. There were 61 ladies, 90 children, 30 young ladies, and 20 young men in attendance. There were many decisions for Christ and rededications to serve Him. Between January 31st and February 5th he attended the Conference of Baptist Churches as a professor in the town of Santa Fe. There were 350 people in attendance. Many dedicated their lives to Christ and made decisions to serve Him. Between March 3rd and March 8th was the beginning of the school year at the Baptist Theological Institute in Aysana. The attendance for the first semester was 36 students—14 in the first level, 6 in the second level, and 8 in the third level. This year they decided to begin special classes for those who have already graduated. There were 8 students and 4 teachers. Brother Romayna ministers with Pastor Carlos Gallardo as an assistant pastor to prepare new leaders for the work of the Lord. It includes youth, children, and music ministries. He also teaches at the Baptist Bible Institute in Iquitos and the Baptist Theological Institute in Caballo Cocha (part time).  The Lord answered his prayer to open a new Baptist Bible Institute in the town of Flor de Punga by the Ucayali river, missionaries have not been able to reach most of the region, and they have over 80 Baptist churches. Please pray that they will have a group of teachers with sound doctrine and principles based on the Bible ready to dedicate themselves to prepare the believers throughout the Peruvian Amazon region.

June 25, 2008  NEPALBrother S.H. thanks the Lord for His great mercies and also to those who are involved in the Lord’s work in Nepal. During the 3 months of summer vacation from the school a group of students have many opportunities to visit the remote hills and villages. In one of the villages 1 man accepted the Lord as his personal Savior. Lord willing next year they will visit another village in another region. During this year’s summer vacation ministry, the Lord blessed them with 12 souls who trusted and identified with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection. A Hindu woman was baptized, at first she was not happy but after much prayer and persistence she came to the Lord first. Please pray for her, her unborn child, and her husband’s salvation. After 3 months of summer vacation, NBBST will open its 4th academic session for 2008-09 on July 1st, they are praying and planning to train a total of 30 students, please pray for them and 2 teachers. Many false teachers have flourished in that area, and they have attracted Christians by offering free basic computer education, music training, and job placement in cities in India. They are thankful to those of you who have sent them books for their school library. They are in need of more books since they only have around 150 to 200 books. Last year they were unable to proceed with the building construction for the NBBST. Please pray to the Lord for the needed funds that He may open the door and provide the need to complete the ground floor in 2008. In a personal note, the Lord is now pleased to give them a second child during the first week in July, please pray for a safety and normal delivery and remember them for the medical expenses.

June 23, 2008  GHANABrother Dapaah would like you to pray for their goals for the next 10 years: 1.– Seek to organize the churches that they have initiated but have not yet been organized as well as visit and strengthen the young churches. 2.– Focus on building the Bible college so that they can attract and accommodate more students. 3.– On the 5th year, re-launch an aggressive church planting program, which will involve active participation of the student body of SRBBC and its graduates. 4.– Seek to have more churches planted within the 40-mile radius of the college so  that their students might be guided to provide leadership for such churches till they have their substantive pastors. 5.-The Solid Rock Baptist Federation, which is a fellowship consisting mainly of churches they have started and a few others that have come to affiliate, is being encouraged to pool their meager resources together so they can support their efforts in church planting and 6.-Continue to develop their SRBY program and promote it in all of their local churches as a means of consistently evangelizing the youth and providing a platform for fellowship and discipleship.

June 23, 2008  GHANABrother Dapaah and his family had moved from Tema Golf City to the mission’s guest house in Dobro on the campus of SRBBC. Unless the Lord overrules otherwise, they intend to live there until they have funds to build their own residence. It became necessary to move because over the years they have not been able to raise full support for the ministry, so every month they have had to part with some of their support either officially or privately to keep the ministry going. With a gallon of petrol now pegged at $5.30 and still threatening to go further up, the cost of living has gone so high that they simply could not cope with the rent advances that the landlord’s were quoting. On another note, in 1997 shortly after their affiliation with IPM, they set a goal of increasing their church planting efforts from 3 to 50 by the end of the year 2007. Their combined efforts enabled them to initiate 38 new churches. Of these 38 churches, 2 have disbanded as a result of lack of leadership or poor leadership, 1 has become inactive as a result of dissension and the death of a leader, 6 are yet to be organized. So they ended the period with 30 active churches, some are still very small but have the potential to grow.

June 23, 2008  GHANABrother Dapaah reports that on April 7th he was involved in a car accident. A drunken soldier lost control of his vehicle and veered straight into his. The impact was so strong that shattered the suspensions and bent the frame of the Toyota 4-Runner that he was driving. There were 2 of them in his car and 4 in the car that rammed into his. They all escaped unharmed, Brother Dapaah has been advised to get rid of the vehicle as soon as he fix it. The vehicle is 17 years old and was already becoming too expensive to maintain. Though he came through the accident unharmed, he was at the scene of the accident all night until daybreak before help arrived. He was exhausted and exposed to a swarm of mosquitoes, which just added the icing on the cake. Exactly one week later, he was hospitalized for the first time in his life. He was in the hospital for 3 days battling a severe case of malaria. The treatment took 10 days, but soon after that, it was detected that he had a very serious bacterial infection, he was put on daily injection for another week. During that time, Vera also came down with malaria, and Gideon had a swollen foot which actually needed minor surgery. By the grace of God they are all better now. Please pray for their health situation.

June 23, 2008  GHANABrother Dapaah reports that a Family retreat attracted about 500 people between January 3rd and 6th. In addition, a Believer’s Conference took place which had about 160 attendees, over 600 attended the last day of the conference. In February this year, there were 22 baptisms for the Pamfoktom and Adzentem churches in the Central Region. On Easter Sunday, 12 people were baptized for the Bodomase and Bourkrom churches. On April 4th, the Dromankese church in the Brong Ahafo Region inaugurated the Solid Rock Baptist Academy with 160 students studying at the primary and junior levels. An open-air meeting was held in the evening having many people accepting Christ as Savior, this event was interrupted by heavy rains but the next day over 100 people attended the worship service. The Solid Rock Baptist Church of Drobonso acquired an 8-acre tract of land on which they have started a building project. Please pray for the amount needed to seal their agreement with the area chief.

June 20, 2008  GHANABrother George A. Dapaah give thanks to his prayer partners and financial supporters for their faithfulness in praying for them, communicating with them, and supporting them financially in their ministry. They ended the year 2007 with a series of activities that kept them quite busy. At the Solid Rock Baptist Bible College (SRBBC) they held their 4th graduation and saw 10 men receiving their graduation diplomas. There were 3 of them returning to complete a 4th year, which will allow them to receive a Bachelor of Theology degree. The rest are gone to the field in various ministries. The next graduation will be in August 2008. On November 25th 51 first time visitors attended the Youth Day sponsored by Tema Solid Rock Baptist Church, 15 of them responded to the invitation for salvation. On December 2nd the Solid Rock youth games were held in Tema (SRBY Olympics) which brought 400 youth clubbers from 4 of their churches, it was great time; they went away looking forward to the next Olympics in December. After the games in Tema, Brother Dapaah traveled to Kumasi speaking on the campus of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to the Fundamental Baptist Fellowship on December 3rd; the early morning service took place at 8:00 a.m. On December 30th they celebrated “Women’s Day” at the Tema church. They had 250 in the morning service, with several visitors who trusted the Lord as Savior. On December 31st many resolutions were made by church members, which is already making an impact in the church.

June 18, 2008  LEBANONBrother F.M. praises the Lord for answering their prayers concerning peace in his country and for the agreement reached between the leaders and parties in Lebanon. He hopes things will go better in the near future now that they realize that fighting and killing will not solve  the problems. He arrived back on April 30th. The Arab Outreach went great and he felt the Lord’s blessing and grace in every service. He thanks the Lord for the brothers and sisters in the main office and for the tremendous work they are doing in serving the Lord. They are a great help to all the laborers around the world. The Lord is blessing the Arab Outreach in many ways, please continue to pray for the needs, protection, wisdom and strength to continue on.

June 18, 2008  CHADBrother Nadjiri Tokinon wrote that he had been hospitalized for 3 weeks with bladder problems. The doctors did everything they could for him in his own country, but they were not able to resolve the problems. Brother Nadjiri have to go to France where he could see a doctor who had the ability to diagnose his problem and give him proper medical attention. Although he lacks the funds needed to make the trip, he had to go for the sake of his health. He still needs about $2,675 to cover additional food and housing expenses in France. He is trusting God to provide, and IPM is making God’s people aware of the need so they can respond as God leads and burdens them. If the Lord lays it on your heart to give a special donation to help with this need, it can be sent to IPM and marked “Tokinon-Medical”. Thank you so much for your consideration of this urgent need for Brother Nadjiri.

June 18, 2008  HONG KONGBrother C.W. writes with a joyful and thankful heart due to the great training course. He and brother L.P. held it in one of the major cities in the mainland. Students attended from 4 different provinces and many different churches. Most of them traveled about 10 hours to be able to get there. The topics were how to set up a youth camp and establish youth programs. The classes began at 9:00 am thru 8:00 pm for 4 days. Some of the attendees were interesting in games and music. Another exciting event was that in spite of the heavy rains they had to stop one of the street activities. Brother W. did not expect to welcome 25 people including 7 visitors as a result of the street activity that got rained down. They are very encouraged by that and look forward to seeing God use them to do some mighty works there. Please pray for Brother W.’s health and the few new projects as they need wisdom and strength.

May 23, 2008  PHILIPPINESBrother G. Namoc reports on the ministries of the North Mindanao Project, a church-planting project on the island of Mindanao. Some of the pastors ministering under Brother Namoc report the following: Pastor A. Panganuran shares that 18 people made professions of faith; Pastor Haguingan shares that 5 people trusted Christ as Savior; Pastor L. Dumay shares that 9 people trusted in the Lord and 12 followed the Lord in believer’s baptism; Pastor E. Lesigon shares that 30 people heard the gospel preached during a funeral service, his Bible study contacts are now attending the worship service; and Pastor C. Lagiulay shares that 21 people professed Christ as Savior and 20 are preparing to follow the Lord in believer’s baptism. Please continue to pray for these men and their ministries reaching people on the remote areas of the Philippines.

May 14, 2008  SIKKIMBrother S.G. thanks his prayer partners and supporters for his family and the ministry. He has a great burden to reach the Buddhists with the gospel of Christ. For the past 3 years he was praying for an opportunity in the country of Cambodia, however, the Lord was not opening the way for ministry. He has been ministering with Brother T.S.G. in Bhutan while waiting on the Lord’s leading. He became aware of the need in the country of Sikkim, he has visited and surveyed the city of Gangtok, which is the capital, and will be considering a nearby area. It costs only 25 cents to travel from downtown of Gangtok to this other area. Please pray for the family’s safety, good health, and new ministry.

May 14, 2008  GUATEMALABrother Giovanni Avendano reports on the visit of new people to the church, as a result of this outreach 2 young men trusted Christ as Savior. In addition, a family of 5 joined the church recently and another young woman has been visiting faithfully. May 14, 2008  CHADBrother Nadjiri Tokinon reports that the church in Bebedjia is moving forward. The members collected funds and purchased 7,000 bricks carved of laterite, which will be used to lay the foundation of the church building. Members are focusing their efforts to collect the funds for cement to start the foundation. Please pray for the political situation in Chad, people can go to church on Sundays, but there cannot gather, meet, or have activities outside the church. Brother Tokinon has not been feeling good since April, please pray for his health condition.

May 13, 2008  PHILIPPINESBrother G. Namoc thanks the churches and individuals who have prayed and supported them with their love gifts.  It is through their generosity that the school is able to keep going and the gospel of Christ is shining in the dark corners of the world.  He also reports on the 23rd commencement exercise at the Mindanao Evangelistic Institute awarding 3 Bible Institute BID, 1 diploma in Bible (DLB), and 13 Christian Life Certificates (CLC) after 3 consecutive years of intensive classroom training and 1 year of internship of BIBD and DIB.  The message was given by Rev. A. Suyod, and the theme was “Keep that which is committed to thy trust.” Despite the financial deficits, the institute is slowly pressing on the Lord’s work, keeping its main thrust of training the undergraduates—tribal folks in the hinterlands who can read and write and who have the calling, commitment, and concern for the Lord’s cause and for the perishing lost but have been deprived of formal education.

May 12, 2008  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. writes on the aftermath of the cyclone Nargis: The cyclone hit the Delta region and Yangon city area on May 2-3, bringing with it a tsunami which struck the coastal region with 12' waves that swept many towns and villages. The winds reached 120 miles per hour in Yangon and shook even the building where we were staying like an earthquake. All the big trees fell-flat, and sheets of metal blew off the rooves like sheets of paper, taking the lives of many people. Estimated casualties have reached over 100,000, and over 1 1/2 million people are now refugees. Our family could have been among them, but the Lord kept us safe. We lacked food for just one morning. The Lord is good! In the Sunday morning service on May 11th, one of our church members in Yangon shared a testimony of how the Lord protects His children. During the storm, he got up and prayed, asking the Lord to keep his bambo-made house safe. He cried and said, "Lord, this house is your gift. Please protect it!" His house was the only house that God spared in that area. All other better houses and huge trees were destroyed. This man shared the gospel with neighboring unbelievers. What a marvelous testimony that God showed special concern for this man! I would like to send photos of the damages (I even got some video footage of the storm.), but the authorities are very strict, and the situation is controversial and sensitive. The dead bodies smell very badly, and the survivors are in great need of food, shelter, and health. Some of my relatives and fellow-believers are in need of help too.  The storm took out all phone and internet communication, electricity, and public transportation, but these services are resuming little by little. Thank you very much for all of your concern during this time of fear and catastrophe. May the Lord richly bless you all.”

May 7, 2008  MYANMARDue to the recent tragedy and devastation caused by the tropical cyclone Nargis last weekend, we are receiving special love offerings to help Brother N.L.K. and his family. Please make your checks payable to IPM, Inc. designating “N.L.K. Emergency Relief” on the memo portion of it. Thank you for your prayers and concern for this dear brother and his family.

May 7, 2008  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. wrote “thank you very much for your deep concern to our well being especially during the past deadly storm. We are always safe by your prayers…... We are going back to our town very soon. We were eye witnesses of the storm. We can share our testimony of God's care during the storm which took over 60 thousand lives. Yes, they were go to Hell which really breaks my hearts. Our responsibility to preach the gospel is on great demand. Yes, we were safe because of your prayers. But some of my cousin sisters lost their home which 100% destroyed by the storm here in Yangon. We do need to help them too. I do highly appreciated for having such a heart toward us and do highly appreciated your wonderful, prayers, friendship and partnership.”

May 6, 2008  MYANMARBrother N.L.K. and his family are safe, he reports that they were sleeping during the storm and woke up by the sound. They barely escaped death, but the storm destroyed many lives and houses. The city of Yangon was almost destroyed entirely, Brother K. and his family were witnesses of the destruction the morning after.  Praise the Lord for His protection and care for our brother and his family. Please continue to pray for the people of Myanmar and their losses.

May 5, 2008  MYANMARAs you may have seen on TV, listened on the radio, or read the newspapers, the country of Myanmar has been devastated by a tropical cyclone Nargis during the weekend. Almost 4,000 people are dead and 3,000 are missing. May 2, 2008  USABrother Matthew Barfield, IPM International Missionary Evangelist, reports on his recent trip to the Peruvian Amazon Region how wonderful the Lord uses His Word to move the hearts of the people living in villages and remote areas from the Amazon River. He was able to work with missionary Carlos Gallardo for nearly one month, preaching and teaching in the city of Iquitos and two distant villages. Brother David Molina, who works with IPM’s Ivan Alegria, arrived from Chile to translate and minister with them. The Lord produced deep stirrings among both the saved and unsaved. Many people were saved, just on a boat ride 11 people came to the Lord and many were encouraged to serve Him fully. In the city of Iquitos where 300,000 people live, the Lord gave them several “divine appointments” in which people attended a series of unusual events to hear the gospel and be saved. On the home front, Mrs. Barfield is enjoying good health as she is awaiting the birth of their first daughter, please continue to pray that God will keep her healthy without any problems as she takes care of the 3 boys.

May 2, 2008  URUGUAYBrother M.M. and his family give thanks to God and their faithful prayer partners and supporters. Sometimes they get weary living in a new neighborhood, everything is expensive especially with a tight budget, but most of the time they are happy to witness what is going on with the people around them. During the summer camp, 8 people made professions of faith. A woman, who attends church with her family, was baptized in the month of March. Brother M. has started classes at the Bible institute, he is teaching the Gospels and doctrine. The first Monday of each month a group of people get together to hear messages at the M.’s home. The church is steadily growing, thank you for your prayers. Some children live in the streets due to family problems at home, 2 of them made professions of faith and are attending Sunday School. Please pray for the country of Uruguay.

There are three young men who has been going through rough life experiences but the Lord has worked in the lives of 2 of them as they attend church and Christian camps. Please pray for Aldo, he is a 42-year old married man, a miracle from God. He received the Lord in 2007 after listening to a message, his life radically changed. Please pray for his wife and grown children to accept the gospel and believe that Aldo is a new man. April 30, 2008  PHILIPPINESBrother Roberto-Jose Livioco reports on 9 believers who recently joined the church membership in spite of the political turmoil and economic uncertainties in the country, 4 became members by confession of faith and 5 through profession of faith and baptism. Since January, the Lord has opened a door to preach the gospel for 30 minutes on the Armed Forces Radio station, DwDD 1134 on the AM dial. Right now Brother Rudy dela Pena is making arrangements to get another radio slot on the Air Forces Radio station, which has a broader listening audience. Our family has the opportunity to participate in a mi-musical last February 29th at the Armed Forces of the Philippines Hospital. At the end, when I gave an invitation for salvation as well as for surrender, there were at least 8 who raised their hands for salvation, many of whom are soldiers. Pastor dela Pena organized another meeting in April to reach 300 patients, nurses, doctors, and medical staff. We thank those who are partnering with us as co-laborers in this ministry.

April 30, 2008  NEPALBrother S.H.’s vision for the vacation summer ministry is to preach the gospel in unreached villages, win lost souls, and plant fundamental Baptist churches. Using the students from the NBBST was in his heart from the beginning of the Bible school. This would allow the students’ theoretical training to practical training. Please pray for needed funds to be able to carry out this vision. The Lord has impressed on the heart of Brother S.H. to launch some sort of community concern development program, this would help to protect the mission property as well as the ministry from anti-Christian forces. This plan would work even if the government required FCRA in the future. This community concern service would should to others that we do social development, such as orphanage, old-age home, literacy programs, or self-income training, etc. In addition, this may give the opportunity for non-Christians to get to know the ministry and give an opportunity to witness about Christ.

April 30, 2008  NEPALBrother S.H. thanks God for His goodness and wonderful works in the country. Within 2 to 3 months the soul winning and Bible school ministries ran side-by-side. The Bible school students gave out 400 gospel tracts and booklets, in response to this ministry 7 people accepted Christ and 1 couple obeyed in believer’s baptism. They want to focus on the hilly region this year as they expand the work of church planting. The third year of the NBBST (2007-2008) has been a test of their faith, there is a struggle in running this ministry due to shortage of funds. At the end of their 3rd academic year, 3 students received the 3-year diploma certificate on March 16th. Three of God’s servants, L.T., G.K., and L.S. felt the need for ordination for their own ministries. Dr. Tom Wolfe, IPM Director of Education, was appointed moderator of the ordination council by Biblical Baptist Church. On another note, please pray to obtain graduation gowns for the students, due to lack of funds NBBST cannot provide them right now.

April 30, 2008 NEPALBrother L.T. and his family would like to thank their prayer partners and supporters for their daily prayers. Praise to the Lord for His faithfulness and guidance. Many people has responded positively to the good news of Christ among them 5 individuals accepted Christ and their personal Savior. Bible studies are conducted in a regular basis in house meetings. The focus has been in 2 rural areas, please pray that the Lord will open the hearts of the people. As the church grows the need for a more spacious place becomes urgent as well as furniture and books. Laborers are few in the different ministries, especially in the children’s home ministry. Pray for the country and freedom to share the gospel.

April 29, 2008  NEPALBrother G.K. reports that Grace Home has 2 more boys, David and Daniel. The orphanage has 5 children saved in 2007. Please pray for David and Daniel to become the vessel of God to reach their own Buddhist and Hindu families. Please pray for better facilities as the need of having sufficient accommodations becomes necessary. Pray with them that the Lord will direct concerning this matter.

April 29, 2008  NEPALBrother G.K. sends his heartfelt thanks and gratitude to all who faithfully pray for his family and ministry. God is so faithful and merciful towards the people of Nepal, on March 10th Mr. M.B.L. and his wife accepted Jesus as Savior and God. On March 23th, an 18-year old man professed faith in Jesus. It is a joy to see drunkards and idol worshippers reading the Bible and attending church. Brother K. and his family had made contact with 6 families and 4 individuals yet there are hindrances from their community and relatives, please pray that God would open their hearts and minds to Jesus Christ. A Children’s Sunday school class started at the beginning of March, 10 to 15 children attended, moreover, they are from Hindu backgrounds and their parents are not saved. The number of children is increasing with every service.

April 29, 2008  INDIAPart of the summer ministry for the students at the South India Baptist Bible College & Seminary is to conduct open-air meetings in the villages and cities, and also preaching God’s Word in several of the churches. Please pray for safety and meeting needs. The needs are many but God has been faithful in the past, and they are certain He will be so in the future. The inflation and the dollar exchange rates are affecting the financial capability to meet the day-to-day needs of the ministry. The South India Baptist Christian Academy is under construction and due to inflation, the workers are demanding double the wages and are able to get that elsewhere, please pray for this need.

April 29, 2008  INDIADr. P.D. Cherian thanks his supporters and prayer partners for the ministry of South India Baptist Bible College and Seminary. On March 10th the college celebrated the Silver Jubilee, it was a great time of rejoicing with friends who stood with the ministry for the past twenty-five years. The 22nd commencement was combined with the 25th anniversary celebration. The academic year concluded with 204 students, many will be entering full-time ministry. One of the highlights in the month of January was the 8th Annual Convention. These crusades are a blessing to the land of India, especially to the local churches. During the 5 days of meetings, over 9,000 people heard God’s Word preached and 621 trusted in the Lord for salvation. A total of 2,434 people trusted in the Lord for salvation during the year 2007 and 369 followed in the waters of baptism. One of the highlights in the month of February was the baptism of 14 people. Dr. Cherian deeply appreciate your prayers and giving for the needs of the believers in Orissa. One of the faculty members is in Orissa helping to purchase materials to build the churches again so the people will have a place to worship.

April 29, 2008  GHANABrother Seth Mohenu gives thanks to God for His mercies which has sustained him and his family until this day. He thanks you for your prayers and financial support. The ministry is growing from strength-to-strength. The main church auditorium is near completion, the only work that still needs some help will be the church offices. The vocational school is growing steadily. Rev.& Mrs. Mohenu presently are traveling in the United States reporting on their ministry, please pray that the Lord will continue to meet their needs.

April 28, 2008  USADr. & Mrs. Thomas Wolfe will be traveling to the Peruvian Amazon Region. They will be ministering in the institute and participate in the Annual Missions Conference held by Amazon Baptist Mission (Carlos Gallardo). They will be serving in Iquitos and then Pevas for the conference. Pevas is a 10-12 hour riverboat journey down the Amazon. In past years more than 600 people attended the conference, many of whom needed the Lord.
